Congratulations to our winners, as well as everyone who entered, voted and judged our contest.
Upload a photo or video (3 minutes or less) that creatively shows why you choose to live or own a business in Oakland, CA. Provide a description of your entry. Then tell your friends to visit Oakland's Facebook page and vote. Anyone may vote once per day for each category. The entry deadline is July 10, 2011.
If your entry is one of the top ten in total votes, you become a finalist and eligible to win the Grand Prize in either the photo or video category!
All finalists and winning entries will be displayed in a variety of formats and venues. Grand prize and runner up winners will be displayed during an upcoming Oakland Art Murmur (first Fridays of every month.)
To enter, you must be a current resident of Oakland, CA or own a licensed business in the City of Oakland and be 18 years of age or older. The photo or video must be the original work of the person who submits the entry. Please see Rules for additional details.

VIDEO: MOV, MPEG, MPG, MP4, M4V, VOB, FLV, AVI, ASF, DIVX, WMV (For best results, 16 x 9 aspect ratio) Maximum file size: 500 MB
AUDIO: MP3, M4A, WMA, WAV, MP4, AAC
Maximum file size: 50 MB
Contest Requirements
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and live in the City of Oakland, California or be a currently licensed, City of Oakland business owner. The contest is not open to employees of the City of Oakland, CA or their immediate families.
